A
Greeting from Our Pastor
Welcome
to the Web Site of the Saddle River
Reformed Church. I hope you have enjoyed your
Virtual Tour of the people and ministry that takes
place within the walls of the Old Stone Church and
the Minnick Memorial Educational Building. However,
I also hope you see that our ministry goes far beyond
the church's 12 acres in Upper Saddle River. From
Suffern to Allendale - Green Pond to Park Ridge, this
fellowship serves the people of the congregation and
theircommunities.
While
the "Old Stone Church," is rooted in the
oldest serving denomination in New Jersey and New
York (the Dutch Reformed Church in America, est. 1628)
- our members come from diverse religious backgrounds
and regional areas in North America, Europe, and Asia.
The common interest of the congregation is based upon
our desire to experience and express God's love for
his people.
A
high priority for our members and friends is to know
God's Word through the written scripture and the presence
of Jesus Christ within our fellowship. This takes
place during Sunday worship, adult education and fellowship,
children's Sunday School, and our Youth Fellowship.
From this personal and communal experience, our members
live a trust filled life with God and with the people
in their lives.
This
Virtual Tour is intended to introduce you to the possibility
of what you can experience. Where can you experience
the real thing? Each Sunday at 9:00 A.M. and 10:00
A.M. you can meet the people who seek to be God's
expression of love to all his people. The doors of
the "Old Stone Church" are opened wide for
all to share in the Good News that God and his people
love you. In this environment, you will have the opportunity
to respond with your love for God and your neighbor.
We
look forward to seeing you soon.

Pastor of the Saddle River Reformed Church
