Women's Guild
Meets every Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
We prepare items to be sold at the annual Harvest Home Fair - so bring a sandwich. Dessert, coffee and tea are provided

The purpose of the Guild shall be to unite all women of the church in order to make Christ known throughout the world, to deepen the spiritual life of the members and to develop a personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church through a program of Prayer, Education, Giving and Service.

For many years the Guild has been an active part of our ministry, providing fellowship, spiritual support, religious study, and financial and personal aid to our congregation. As you know the women work all year, holding a weekly workshop meeting, to prepare all the handmade articles sold at the Fair. Also, a Morning Circle meets monthly for fellowship and Bible Study.

In recent years, the Guild has contributed as much as $6,000 annually to the operating budget of the church. It also has made donations to missions and to worthwhile causes. The Guild encourages all women, members or friends to participate in the fellowship of the group. Moms with young children are always welcome with their youngsters. There is a great feeling of satisfaction in the creation of wonderful handmade items. And it is a most worthwhile activity; there is something for everyone.

In the past the number of actual members was much larger, and some of us can remember when, as well as conducting The Harvest Home Fair and White Elephant Sale, a meeting was held once a month with various interesting programs. In addition there were three Bible Study Circles that met on different days at different times of the day. There were 35-40 active members at that time. We hope that the time will come when the Guild membership will increase and many opportunities can be provided for more service to our church

The Old Stone Church Quilters
This group meets every Tuesday morning in the Lounge. Another project is underway this year to sew yet another gorgeous quilt to raffle at the Harvest Home Fair. They love to have as many creative hands to help with this project as possible - many hands do indeed make for light work. So if you know how to sew - or even if you've never made a quilt before - please join the group. No experience is necessary; they all teach and learn from each other. Invite a friend.

If you are interested in joining the fellowship and fun of quilt making, please save the date! Questions? Contact the Church Office.

Ladies' Auxiliary
Meets Thursday mornings in the Lounge of the Education Building.

The Carlough Fund
The Carlough Fund, which was established in 1997, is available to assist our members of our church and Sunday School with emergencies and other special needs. The fund was founded initially with a bequest from the will of Clinton Carlough, a longtime supporter of the Saddle River Reformed Church.

It should also be noted, donations to the fund are welcome at any time. Those gifts can be mailed to the church office or left in the collection Plate marked for the Carlough Fund. We would like to keep the principal balance up around the $10,000 level as the interest this fund earns can be used for special needs grants, which do not need to be repaid. Please feel free to help with a gift that will benefit our church family.
